Our team was called in to support a company manage a complex minerals tenure issue and support them through a maze of issues.

We reviewed the company and government information before strategising with the company on the best option to expedite a solution – it can be difficult to know how to attack a multi-faceted problem and ensure you go to the right people in government.

We sought and achieved a meeting with government and met with them within the week. After working on the right approach for the meeting, we presented the issue and discussed the solution options.

That tenure matter was resolved in the time period agreed, and the company can now progress this important project.

Applications for grant funding are complex, time consuming and often need to be completed in a very tight timeframe.

Our team notified a company of a newly released government grant program that aligned with their activities. We then supported the company to submit the detailed and complex grant application in a matter of days, ensuring that they were at the ‘front of the queue’ for the funding opportunity.

The grant was successful and delivered important funds to to progress the project, as well as lend weight to other funding opportunities.

Community engagement is critical for mineral exploration and resource projects, especially in sensitive areas and highly regulated jurisdictions.

When a minerals explorer had a project that was advancing, they called on our team to review their community consultation strategy and update it to align with the progressing exploration program.

Our team reviewed and updated the strategy and provided an accompanying action plan to support delivery. The revised strategy was aligned with compliance reporting to streamline and simplify the company’s internal management of community engagement. The revised strategy was also developed to enable community engagement to grow with the advancing exploration program.

The revised strategy included updating stakeholder mapping and analysis with innovative thinking to deliver a strategy and engagement that would align with the requirements and expectations of the local communities.

Our team is now supporting implementation of the strategy, working with the company to support social licence and the progression of the exploration program.

Our team are called on regularly as speakers, facilitators and organisers. With examples including presenting at national and international conferences, moderating panels on a broad range of topics and crafting programs and aligned activities to support strategic objectives. 

Just recently we have supported an industry organisation to develop a scholarship program, deliver an awards event and chair an international conference as well as a series of workshops to support students with career opportunities. 

Over our time, we have also initiated and delivered leading industry events including seminars, workshops and conference as well as government field trips and international student trips.
